      • No marks are deducted for unattempted questions.

  • English:A correct answer fetches you 1 mark, while an incorrect or multiple-marked answer deducts 0.33 marks.
  • General Knowledge & Mathematics:Same principle applies. A correct answer earns you 1 mark, while an incorrect or multiple-marked answer deducts 0.33 marks.

CDS 2024 Examination: Detailed Information

Exam Cycle:

  • CDS 1 2024:Application closed on January 9, 2024. Exam date is April 21, 2024.
  • CDS 2 2024: Application opens on May 15, 2024, and closes on June 4, 2024. Exam date is September 1, 2024

Eligibility:

  • Nationality:Indian Citizen
  • Age:
    • IMA: 19-25 years
    • INA: 19-22 years
    • AFA: 19-23 years
    • OTA: 19-25 years (Men) and 20-25 years (Women)

Exam Pattern:

  • Stage 1:Written Exam (2 hours per paper)
    • English: 120 Marks
    • General Knowledge: 120 Marks
    • Elementary Mathematics (only for male candidates): 120 Marks
  • Stage 2:SSB Interview (5 days)
